You can hear a crying baby, and someone put a wagon. My house used to be the early house of ochitree. I was on outside. I was taking pictures outside then I got them developed, then I saw the ghost on the picture. I want to know the history about the house so look up early houses of Ochiltree thx peace out :). Submitted by Monica        Categories: home, baby, wagon      The house at the corner of rt 49 (pendleton hill rd) and route 216 at the brook is an old one and said to be haunted for many years. Nobody ever seems to live there long. Recently it was a B&B and now it is empty again. At the stop sign many have claimed to see the ghost of a woman looking down from a window all dressed in white as you sit at the stop sign. Randall's ordinary on rt. 2 has been haunted for centuries by the ghost of John Randall in the old house second floor and also in the cellar. Many who worked there can tell you stories! . It is closed again. The town has had two active covens of witches and several UFO sightings in a corn field near the Voluntown line. Going out toward the Silica mine on the solstices you can witness a parade of druids on lantern hill. Lots going on in this little town.
