I live in Norwalk, and the cemetery behind Lockwood Mathews Mansion is haunted. I had recently moved into the neighborhood and did not know the place quite well. Late October coming home from work late, I asked a friend to show me the way home. We both walked toward Lockwood Mathews Mansion. It was very cold out, so we tried to find a shortcut home up to Butler Street. We quickly walked through the grounds at the mansion, climbed the stone wall,

and went through the cemetery about 11pm in the evening. We slowly walked along the wall.
A few minutes later I heard a whistle. I asked my friend

if he was whistling a soft song as he walked. He had said ''No,'' so we stopped and looked around. We saw a British soldier with a tripod hat and uniform walking down the cemetery path. My friend said something to me, and I said someone was playing a joke. Then we walked a little farther, and the solider just looked at us and evaporated into thin air. There was not even a breeze. We ran the length of the path without stopping to the main gate and ran all
