Does anyone have any experience with the house on Mile Creek Road down where Dr. Clark had his veterinary clinic? It was a yellow house. When I was a kid the Stanhopes lived next door before their house burned.

In my house there was a face in the loft, just floating, so weird!.

Saw a shadow figure crossing the road at the end of whiporwhill Rd driving on rt 1 Boston post Rd. Shadow was translucent and moved from one unlit side of the road into and under a Streetlight. Then into a dark field no other cars were around but ours and the shadow floated very fast.

The passenger in the car also witnessed this occurrence it occurred on may 20 2009 around 1:45 am.

Comment by DMD: I have lived within 2 miles of this exact location listed above. I walk daily past this exact area. I have lived in Old Lyme on and off since the middle 1980s. I have never heard anyone ever make any reference to any ghost or anything strange in the area discussed. I do pay special attention to this area when I walk or drive by this area. I frequently bring my dog as I walk and he is easily spooked by lots of things. He has never acted strange when in the area.
I will keep you posted if something is strange, and I might happen to come across it.
