Supposedly when my ancestors from my father's mother's side came to this country from Prussia now Germany in 1896, they bought a tiny little farm house that was built between 1858 and 1859 with them. The land was rich with farming and lots of trees to cut down to build from, but somewhere between 1908 and 1912 strange occurrences started happening on the property, from animals tools disappearing to strange screams and voices that would speak at night

or in the house. At first they assumed it was nothing till one day my great uncle spotted a child on the tracks and tackled him only to open his eyes,

and there wasn't a child at all. Then again during a storm he saw the same child again walking around on the dirt road. He shouted at him to come inside. The child laughed, waved, and disappeared.
Everyone in the family thought my uncle had cancer or was dying, but he wasn't. Then it happened to my great aunt. She started seeing him too in the road and field which is now St. Colmens Church. Now every couple of years you can still hear the laughter
