My house growing up in T-town was haunted. We lived right on the Main Street along the Naugatuck River. The most obvious thing was my entire family at different points seeing a man in a hat with but no legs (he was just floating) and a tiny lady in a long dress with no face. They were seen in staircases, in the basement, the attic, and even down by the river at one point. We had lots of ''in the corner of your eye'' stuff. My parents confronted my little

brother about it because he told someone at school he saw it, and they both confided in each other they had also seen it after I scared them with a weirdly
|
specific ''dream'' about it when I was a kid. These sightings were rare though, maybe five or six times total across 18 years.
However, the more common everyday stuff was constant. We had unexplained footsteps on the ceiling, weird knocks on the wall, doors and cabinets opening and closing, everyone in the house having the exact same creepy dreams, things flying across the room, weird voice-like noises, whiffs of cigarette smoke from unexplained places,
