There is a small bridge that was just reconstructed at the end of Sheldon and cross road in Voluntown that goes over Glasgo Pond. Me and my buddy were kayaking at night with a bright full moon when we paddled under it to fish the other side.
Once we were about 10 ft from going under I noticed a man but couldn't make any details of a face out. He was just standing in the middle of the bridge with his arms crossed staring at us. I didn't say anything

scared this weirdo was guna jump on my yak or do something crazy when we came out the other side.
I paddled about 10 yards away from the bridge and turned back to see what he was doing on the bridge and he was gone. Nowhere to be seen no noise no footsteps.. And with how quickly we came out the other side even if he started walking while we were under it I believe we should have either heard steps or we would definitely have still seen him walking
