My husband and I were driving along route 139 in Branford on a rainey night and I had just closed my eyes to rest a bit when my husband who was driving yelled'that was ghost'! I opened my eyes and asked him what he meant.
He kept repeating that was ghost. Finally he calmed down a bit and told me that he had slowed down to let someone cross the road as he had seen legs stepping off the curb. But he was astonished to see nothing but legs! No

body.
The legs were transparent. An interesting fact is that not far from this location a woman's husband while backing up his truck ran over his wife

accidentally as she stood behind his truck severing her legs from her body.

I was driving in Wallingford one evening on Christian Street near choate schoolwhen I've seen a man walk from the cemetery on the corner and cross the road. Inoticed he was wearing workboots with the tongues exposed.
Nothing unusual with this except... When he got across the street near a stone wall he walked right through it1.
