When I was about 16 I visited the Woodlawn cemetery in Andover. I've done research projects over the years and I've discovered there are a lot of people buried in that cemetery that committed suicide or died from some other tragedies.
Anyway I was walking around towards the back of the cemetery and as I walked past a more modern grave that was the resting place of an elderly woman I suddenly smelled perfume. The scent didn't linger very long but

it was very strong.
I did not wear perfume back then and my father who was with me was looking in a different section of the cemetery. There was not

another person visiting the cemetery while we were there. It could have been nothing but it seemed pretty unnatural to smell strong perfume in the back of a cemetery.

Anybody who has been to Andover can tell you that there is a certain connection that you get when you visit this small little town. The locals keep many secrets and see if the visitors can catch on. One of the biggest secrets is the Merrill house also known as the Chandler Mansion.
