In the late 70's I lived in an apartment building located on Goff Street. I believe it was haunted by a child. One night I had gone to bed and I was still wide awake. All of a sudden a child's voice whispered in my ear ''hi mom.
'' there were several strange happenings in that place. Once I got up around 4:00 am and out of the blue I heard deafening organ music like it was right in the apartment. One hot night in mid July I woke up and the bedroom was freezing cold as if it was mid winter.

I saw things move that shouldn't have. Toys for my 2 year old went missing 'til my husband and I started packing up to move. We had a couch in front of a closet that we never used. When my husband opened up the closet door there were all the toys that had disappeared earlier in the year.

This is another reason why I believe it was the spirit of a child. I still can't explain the organ music though.

I lived on Blake Street in Auburn for 16 years when I was a kid. There were so many incidences that occurred there. We saw ghosts heard footsteps at night differences in room temperature etc. I had nightmares for years about that place.
Today I decided to look up the history online of Blake Street Auburn Maine and noticed it's for sale... Again =o everyone who stepped foot in that house had the exact same eerie feeling. Especially in the master bedroom downstairs upstairs and the second floor kitchen.
