I stayed in a hotel in Bailey Island- right by the water. We asked if the hotel had any rooms and the proprietor said no- but hesitantly which we thought was odd. We then couldn't find anything else so we went back and he said- well okay.
We were shown a twin room then went out for dinner and then went back. In the night I woke with a feeling of dread. I noticed that the bathroom door was swinging open of it's own accord. I screamed and woke my husband-

we switched the light on and it proceeded to flick on and off rapidly- wouldn't stay on.
He leaped up and switched the overhead light on- and things
|
calmed down. We were absolutely terrified. It was like being on a film set. We spent the rest of the night clinging to each other in terror with the light on!.

Hi I used to live in a house by the cemetery in Bailey Island. I was only 4 at the time but I still remember the noises I heard from the attic square. It wasn't English. I ran into my parents room and they let me sleep with them I could still faintly hear the voice.
