I was working on a camp on Meddybemps Lake, Sunny Cove on Rt 1 in Baileyville. A friend of mine was outside the camp and called out for me to help him with something while I was in the living room, so I dropped what I was doing and walked toward him to the kitchen not really looking straight, kind of looking down. As I got to the kitchen, something stopped me cold. I mean I even felt the cold. As I looked up, I saw this woman wearing a blue dress with

dark hair and a blue ribbon in her hair. The dress looked like 1930s or 1940s, and I walked right through her, not really knowing what I was seeing or
|
feeling. It happened so fast, and it scared the daylights out of me. I still think about that woman till this day.
