Maine Street is haunted. I lived there years ago, the back room on the first floor was the worst. It was an extension that used to be a barn.

In our apartment there are a few times that I have felt the hairs on the back of my neck jump up or thought I heard something, but each time once I have investigated it, it turned out to be nothing. However there was one night several years ago in the middle of the night when something woke me, not a noise just a sense of being watched.
Upon waking I looked over and saw a silhouette of a little girl with long hair. Thinking it was my child I reached out to her and told her to go back to bed, but my hand passed through her and she then disappeared.
It definitely unnerved me that night. I don't think I slept much the rest of the night but I have never seen the apparition again.
