My wife and I got married 20 years ago and we had some experiences in our first apartment shortly after moving in. The building was older (built in 1890) 3 stories and quite spacious located on top of a large hill that overlooked the river and part of the downtown area.
We would notice the feeling of being watched at times. Usually while watching TV or at meals. You know the feeling on the back of your neck? We got that a lot. There were also notable cold spots in the apartment.

You could literally feel the difference in temperature from one spot to another. And they were not always in the same spot but there were two spots in the living room that were pretty consistent not all the time but often enough to notice.

Sometimes you would see something out of the corner of your eye only to turn and see nothing there. This went on for months and didn't unnerve us at all. We just figured an old building has it's quirks and we were newlyweds and had our minds on ''other'' things anyway.
After about a year I noticed some things would be misplaced and blinds drawn or open on their own. Mind you we never watched the blinds open or close on their own but you would open them on the south side to let the sun in during the day only to find when you got home that those were closed and the north side was open.
Or blinds open halfway when left would be fully raised or closed. This was a regular occurrence it might happen a 1-2 times a month but not to the point where we were freaked out or anything. We even joked about it and called out resident ghost ''george''.
