Things in the house always seemed to occur when rooms of the house underwent renovation. I had a lot of weird personal experiences like having the fire alarm go off and hearing someone running. Both of these things occurred when I was home by myself.
The fire alarm went off one day when I was home sick from school. I was asleep in my room when I heard the fire alarm go off downstairs in my parents room. It woke me up and immediately I jumped out

of bed and ran downstairs to see if there was a fire.
As soon as I hit the bottom step it turned off. I looked all downstairs and tried to figure out

why it went off and found nothing. The other experience I had was downstairs in the dining room when I heard someone running with what sounded like a bouncing ball.
We had a dog but she was downstairs with me. I remember how freaked out I was and how scared I was to be alone. I stayed downstairs until my mom got home. When my family renovated the attic things really started acting up.
