I don't live in Canaan but I drive through sometimes so the locals might know more about this. When you drive through town you cross a short white bridge. At the end of the bridge is a very worn old abandoned wooden building.
I always thought I could see someone looking at me from one of the windows. One time I decided to pull over and have a closer look. I parked my car and went up to one of the windows and looked in. I didn't see anything at first

but suddenly an angry looking man appeared behind the window and then disappeared again in a flash.
I was so scared I jumped back in the car and sped

away. I never stopped there again.
