My haunting experience occurred in a small white cape located on South Maine Street in Caribou. Doors and cabinets opened or closed on their own. Radios often powered on in empty rooms. The dogs often reacted in fear of something we could not see. Heavy male footsteps could be heard on the upstairs floor when no one was there. The washing machine which was located in the basement turned on by itself at 2:00 am. This is an impossible feat since the knob not only had to be turned but pulled out.

There is a spot in Caribou, it's actually by Hogan Tire, it's an abandoned building by the river. I have been down there before with one of my old friends and heard noises and footsteps and giggling, I felt a twist in the pit of my stomach.
So the next year I went back to that very spot with a couple of friends. Well one of my friends wouldn't go in, so me and my other friend went in and I heard a noise. Thinking it was my friend outside of the building I went back out and she was just standing there. I had asked her if she had said anything and she said no, so I went back into the building where my other friend still was. I yelled his name and he came running and screaming saying run. I couldn't fully cooperate at the moment and I thought he was joking.
So I ran outside to see what was wrong and he had a giant scratch on his leg and he was crying. So I went back inside to see what it was, well he told me not to go back in there. But I wanted to know what was in there so as soon as I went in I felt a cool breeze rush by me and chills ran down my back and I heard a noise, and went towards it into the back. Then I was closer and saw something just standing there and I ran. I felt like it was coming after me, as I jumped out I started running again and fell and cut my leg all up but I was soo scared I just jumped back up and started running.
