It was in my attic. It was black and shadow-ish, and I remember hearing ''hello who are you? I'm your little friend.''.

Weird things have been happening lately. My bother has a ''friend'' that he talks to and plays with. At one point we asked him, and he said that he was right here and gestured at an open space of air. Another time I woke up in the middle of the night to babies and little kids crying in my room. The sound just got closer and closer to me until it sounded like it was right next to me before just stopping. I've seen dark shadowy figures in the corner of my room, and lately there has been a banging in the corner of my room, like metal on metal. It's been getting louder. There is a room that comes off of my room, and no matter how hard we try to get that room warm it never does. We've tried heater multiple times and cranked it up, but the room still stays cold. There is a little closet that comes off of the cold room. When we first moved in, there was and still is an old wardrobe, an easel, and a little chair in the corner.
First time my friend came over, she opened the door, looked at it, and slammed it shut, declaring that she was never going in that room because she felt something was odd with that room. That was before we found out it was haunted. We had professionals come and take voice recordings of our 2 basements and my brother's room. We hear chanting in the basement and a little boy's voice in my brother's room. Lately these incidents have been getting worse and worse. First it was the room, then the figure, then the crying. After that it was discovering my bother has been talking to a ghost, and lastly the chanting and voices.

We lived in a house in Durham for many years. You always knew there was someone else there besides you and your family. You would feel a hand on your shoulder while reading on a quiet night,the flame from the candle you are burning triples in size, you wake up at night to the sounds of children laughing,singing coming from the attic room.
The dogs were constantly staring at ''something'' up on the ceiling, or looking around the room, seeing somethng you cannot. There were nights when there were crys coming from the Androscoggin river, was someone drowning? Or are we just hearing things? We called the police and they checked it out, that night, but in continued long after that (ha-to this day) we were never scared by this feeling, just wondering...
