I can verify this account by Keith. I am a long time resident of Fort Fairfield and am currently living on the end of Cogswell Street. Where the murder of Cyrus happened. I have heard some very strange things; knocking on the outside door (when I leave the outside light on) and I have even heard my fence chains rattling outside on a dark and seemingly windless night.
When I used to smoke I would go outside through the back entrance and stand on the step in the complete pitch black of the night. On multiple occasions I have heard a loud thumping noise on the side of my house literally taking my breath away.

I actually saw 2 different ghosts while I was a teenager in Fort Fairfield and had other experiences in my fathers house as well. My family bought the last house on Richards Street in 1983 and my father lives there still.
