My name is Heather. I have lived in Gardiner off and on throughout my life. At about 20 years old I got a job in a big old house off River Road (now River Avenue. ) The minute I pulled into the driveway my skinned crawled. I entered the house to only be delighted by its appearance. As the years progressed people came forward to talk of things they had seen, heard, felt, and smelled. Smelled I thought. Hmmmm. myself. Until the evenings my co-worker Jenn and I were in the living room and heard almost a hissing or popping sound. We both looked to the left and

saw a black mist approximately 10 feet tall and 10 feet wide come from the hallway into the living room and go through the wall. Literally we said at the same time ''did you see that???'' after doors slamming, conversations/ laughter you couldn't quite make out throughout the house. There were footsteps and someone calling your name, and no one was there.
