Three of us were snowmobiling on separate sleds on Saturday, Jan 17, 2015 at approximately 7pm from Jackman to the Canadian border on ITS 89. It was about -5 degrees Fahrenheit. We were miles away from any civilization, and I was following the other two sleds at approximately 40 mph when I went by what looked like a bearded man standing five feet off and facing the trail looking straight ahead. I only saw him for a second, but the vision of him is still burned

in my mind.
There was something so very not right with him that there was no way I was going back. The other two riders didn't see him and, naturally,

made fun of me the rest of the weekend. There was no evidence of a crash, no footprints on the trail. (I notice deer tracks on snowmobile trails while riding. ) There was nothing else out of the ordinary that I saw.
It still gives me chills when I think about it.
