I grew up in a town near Milo, Maine and heard a lot of different ghost stories from residents from Milo. Seems like the entire town has had paranormal activity. Specially this one street called Prospect that is opposite a cemetery.
One home owner found a headstone out back of their house a long time ago. Apparently up until the 1800s people all over America were sometimes buried on their property and not just grave yards and cemeteries.

I heard stories from someone who used to live on that street that she was walking home with a friend and they saw a dark figured man with an old fashioned
|
style hat and red glowing eyes standing just a couple feet off the road where some trees are now.
Also stories about an old abandoned house that is further down the street in which I heard stories of hauntings. Apparently this particular house was the first one to be built on the street because that street used to be one big farm.
