For a number of years my family lived in a house in New Vineyard. We moved into a large house when I was about four / five years old and my family moved out when I was seventeen. For a time my oldest brother lived in the only room in the attic.
One day he told my parents that one night he awoke to see a man standing next to the only window in the room and was told some frightening things. The man appeared once or twice more. My oldest brother left home

sometime later and no one saw else saw the man.
But one night for a sleepover years later a sister and I were having with some friends we were exchanging
|
scary stories. I mentioned the man my oldest brother had seen and as we laughed the attic stairs creaked three times as if someone was either ascending or descending the attic steps.
