Hi, there. I'm looking for anyone who has experienced seeing a figure on the beach in OOB Maine. In the summer of 2020 my ex and I saw a very tall skinny shadow like figure of a person between midnight and 1 am that was sitting close to the water while we were on the beach observing the night sky. I would like to hear your story and share mine, and also would be so grateful for any information on the history of the beach that may pertain to it being haunted

A few years ago me and my two brothers where walking along Old Orchard Beach away from the pier. It was I want to say somewhere around midnight or later. As we approach one of the guard towers we saw what almost looked like a shadow, but with better detail like a dark figure of a man very tall 7 feet or taller and very skinny. We all stopped and said do you guys see that and we walked closer about 20 feet away, and it just disappeared. No foot prints or anything. Has anyone else seen this man or figure on the beach?.

Comment by Emma: Were you walking from the OOB pier toward Pine Point or toward Ferry Beach? Old Orchard Beach has quite an interesting history.
Comment by Talisha: Hi, Cody. I had a similar experience in 2020 with my ex-boyfriend. We were maybe 1 / 3 of a mile from the pier or less. It was 12:30 or 1 in the morning, and we were on the beach looking at the stars, and to our left we noticed a very tall and skinny dark figure probably seven feet tall sitting near the water. We decided to leave because it felt uncomfortable, and when I looked back one more time the figure was standing, and it was a shadow like dark figure. Please let me know if you would like to exchange emails and maybe have a phone conversation about this because my ex and I still talk about it to this day. We thought maybe we saw an alien, but it could be a spirit of some kind. Thank you for sharing.
