So I've always been scared of ghosts, but this was something else. I used to live in the farmhouse at the end of Verill Road and in the alcove of this house there was a bathroom connected to the alcove. One night I was lying in bed, and in the doorway was what looked to be a girl in her wedding dress with no head. Now I know this sounds cheesy, but about a year later a man came to our house and said he used to live there. He said that there was a

tale that a man caught his wife cheating and chopped her head off. Then the man buried her under the walkway out front. After that the man committed suicide.

I have a place in Otisfield off Rt 121. A couple of years ago my sister in-law and her friend came rushing in just back from the Casco AG. It was pouring buckets. All excited they told of a young woman walking in the rain in what looked like a wedding dress.
As they got closer to ask if she wanted a ride she disappeared. Totally freaked them out. This was just after Camp Agawam heading north. Imagine our surprise when we read of the young man's story. Puts the hairs up on back of my neck!.
