The first time my sister and I heard the ghost was 1976. We were sleeping in the room with the twin beds, in the middle of the night we heard what sounded like motorcycles coming down the road. In the morning-we were switched in our beds! In 1980 is when I saw the sea captain ghost on the woodstove that was in the living room. I was sleeping in the den area downstairs on the sleeper sofa with my sisters and two friends.
I had to use the bathroom upstairs

where my parents were sleeping. I came down the stairs and saw the captain with his legs crossed and smiling at me! I never ran so fast in my life up

the stairs to where my parents were sleeping.
My dad had to practically sit on me to calm me down I was so shook up!!! In the morning we saw where he had sat!.
