I live on Essex Street in Sanford, ME. It started about a year and a half ago when I moved in with my girlfriend here on Essex. I went to the basement where our washer and dryer is to switch our laundry. When I went back down there was a backpack in the middle of the floor. I tried to figure how it could get perfectly into the middle of the floor, but I could not figure it out. I would randomly wake up with little scratches on my body that I know were not from me or anyone else. It never really escalates out of control, but I do notice things still.
We recently had a baby and got one of those camera monitors that you can look around the room day and night. I have never seen anything, but from time to time I hear random noises when my daughter is sound asleep. I hear almost like a single creaking footstep from time to time also. The creepiest thing that happened to us was this past fall. We were both sleeping in our bed and the baby in her bassinet at the foot our bed. In the middle of the night we were awakened by a loud bang right near our bed. It sounded like someone kicked the wall, and it is the second story, so no one was outside messing with us.

I was walking down near the Sanford Mills in the area out back and when me and my friend David were walking by the old loading docks I noticed out of the corner of my eye a black three legged dog standing completely still, looked back and then I saw nothing.
It was really bewildering. I have not seen a three legged black dog there ever again though. So take it anyway you want.

Well over the past year I lost both my dogs to cancer within nine months of one another and ever since we got our new puppy he acts very weird, so I decided I was going to pull an all nighter with my puppy. So we where laying on the couch and I said you know Rocky, I really miss you and wish you where still here. And at that very moment my leg got really cold and that freaked me out, so I went to bed.
