I used to spend my summers at a friend's house on Long Sands Road near the Village. I had heard of the house being haunted. I didn't feel surprised the house is pretty old and I heard stories of the ghost there.
I worked down at a restaurant in the harbor throughout my adolescence. My family was visiting during the fall of 2005. I stopped by the restaurant for dinner and stuck around to hang out with some old friends. I told my dad I'd go back

to the house that night but I was going to drink down at my friend’s apartment near the harbor beach.
It began to pour out around midnight, I borrowed

a poncho from my friend and ran down about 3 miles to the house... When I got to my friend's home, I closed the front door and got out of my wet clothes and hung them up to dry in the kitchen. My stepmother made the couch up to look like a bed for me.
About an hour in - the front door whips open slamming against the kitchen counter. I wasn't moving so fast. The rain continued to pour. When the living room got cold then I made the effort to get up to close
