I used to go to the Avon public library almost everyday when I was younger, and I knew all the workers pretty well. They were all friends with my family. I once saw and heard an old lady heading to the basement bathroom. I told the workers, and then they stated that there had been many sightings and knew 100 percent there was. I remember telling my grandmother getting home, and she told me there was definitely one from past experiences.

I was at the Avon Public Library, and I knew the workers and was there everyday pretty much. I went downstairs to use the bathroom. As I got down there, I went to the bathroom. Then I heard someone say ''hello''. It sounded like an old woman. I searched, and there was no one, so I told a worker about it, and they said there was a female ghost down there. They have seen it once and have heard it talk.

I have been living in Avon, MA since 2005. I walk down and up W. High Street every day to and from work in Boston. In the fall of 2006 I was walking home passing the First Baptist Church when I looked up to my right. I saw the figure of 3 males dressed in white hooded robes walking by the dumpster into the woods. I stood there trying to adjust my eyes as they appeared transparent (I could see the dumpster through them). They were walking one behind the other, and they seemed to be in a hurry. They just disappeared into the woods. I stood there for a moment just contemplating what I had just seen. I did not feel scared but felt uneasy. I tried to pick up the pace and walk faster towards my house, but it felt like I was not moving at all!! I told this to all my co-workers the next day. Some believe while others did not. It is now 2013, and I still walk the same path but never saw it again.
