There was and still a small cabin on lloyds road in the town of blandfoird Massachusetts. It is located on the left side of lloyds road next to a vacant field shortly after lloyds separates from Shepherd road.
This cabin belonged to my friends father and was primarily used by them during the deer hunting season in Massachusetts. His father and uncle both passed on many many years ago and the cabin stayed vacant for years.
One year in the late 1970's

we intended to take a fews days to hunt during the Massachusetts bow season. We went up on Monday hunted that day and went home and returned on Thursday.
|
We had left all of our gear in the cabin when we returned in the wee hours Thursday morning we discovered that all of our gear had been moved into one bedroom and piled high on the bed.
Our hunting boots were on the very top of the pile and completely filled with acorns. It is reasonable to assume that rodents put the acorns in the boots but it did not explain how everything was piled high with the boots on top.
At that time we gave it some thought
