When I was four I moved to Chelmsford. Since I was so young I always went to bed early until I was about nine. In those years things always went missing and showed back up in the strangest places (fridge, laundry hamper, etc. ) When I woke up at the middle of the night when I knew everybody was asleep I heard the sounds of toys moving around my living room, footsteps of children and, and quiet giggling. Since I was so young I was pretty scared, but

I didn't mention it to anybody. If I left my room, the noises always stopped, and the house would go dead silent.
One time I when I was five I

asked them if I could play with them. They looked terrified and started backing away from me. I asked them what was wrong, and they pointed behind me. I turned around and saw a shadow smiling at me. I stared at him for about a minute, and then he disappeared. I turned back to wear the ghosts were, and they had disappeared also. I frowned and then went back to bed. Every time when I was little and I tried to play with them, they would be scared and shake
