The Humphrey's two cats also were said to like to go there and catch mice in the field until one day they stopped coming home. The place bugs me out. There are no sounds of birds or leaves when you are up there. It's like all living things and movement fall into some sort of void. Submitted by Jonathan
Comment by Jon: This place gives me the creeps. I heard something about disappearing animals around there a long time ago.

Comment by Seth: This Rebecca nurse homestead seems to have a lot of paranormal activity. I wonder if any of the big paranormal research groups have done any investigations there?.

We lived on Hobart Street next to the soccer field. Our first encounter which made us come to the realization that the apartment was haunted, was on a Sunday morning. My husband and I were sleeping, and both were woken up hearing footsteps coming from our infant daughter's room, but no one was there. Then it started. My baby was terrified to sleep in her room, and one night when she 11 months old she was screaming. I went in to get her, and there was an old man, sitting on the floor at the foot of her crib with a blanket over his shoulders. He was dark grey, like a shadow. When I blinked he was gone.
