I was doing restoration work on the Rebecca Nurse house this past month, and I'm a little embarrassed to say, but I am a true believer of the paranormal now that I have seen what I have seen. Four days into working on the building my tools started disappearing from the staging we had set up to work. At first I thought it was my coworker, but soon it became clear that it couldn't have been him. Besides it's not his personality to do things like that. At the end of the day of work my tools were still nowhere to be found.
The next day I arrived at the job site and spent about a half hour looking for the missing tools, still without any luck as to where the heck they could have gone. I worked the whole day without incident. I cleaned up my work space then headed for the gate that surrounded the entrance area of the front lawn, and I kid you not there hanging on the gate were my tools still swinging as if someone had just put them there.
''This was a ghost,'' I thought to myself! How did I know that it wasn't just one of my coworkers playing a trick on me or a visitor who was a prankster? I knew because everyone that was visiting the property as well as my coworkers had left an hour and a half to two hours before I saw the hanging tools. I left the tools hanging and ran to my truck spinning dust as I peeled out of there with the hair on the back of my neck standing straight up. Ghosts are definitely real, and I have first hand experienced one!.

Comment by anonymous: Omg. I am totally freaking out about this! We visited the RNH at the time the men were working on the house, and I didn't like the negative feelings I was having that day. A total PMS day without the PMS if you know what I mean? .
Comment by Town: Does anyone else ever get that rush of ozone just like during a thunderstorm when they are at the homestead this time of year? Strawberry festival is coming soon.
