I know this is dated, but I just came across it. Although I know nothing of any hauntings at Hanscom. I was the security police flight chief (midnight shift supervisor) the night Bridget shot herself while working the swing shift at the Gate. Several hours before I drove through her gate enroute to base housing where I lived to get ready to report for duty relieving her flight. As customary, I waved to her, but she seemed somewhat distraught which I attributed

to having to work a weekend evening. Shortly after arriving home I received a call from the Desk Sgt that our commander LTC Ansorge wanted me to bring

my people in early to relieve her flight as Bridget had shot herself with her sidearm at the Gate. We later learned that she was distraught over a breakup.
After her body was removed and AFOSI had completed their on-scene incident investigation LTC Ansorge and I had a conversation about what to do about the Gate. He had tears in his eyes, and like all of us was distraught over Bridget's death. I told him I would take care of the Gate. After failing to obtain hazmat
