I had been working at the Hanscom Middle School (before their new building was built) as a custodian. One night in 2011 I was sweeping a long hallway when I noticed a man dressed with dress pants, stripped shirt, and glasses walk from left to right to the front door. I heard the door open and close. About twenty minutes later I asked a fellow employee about the fact that it was bizarre for teachers to be in the building so late in the day since it was around 10:15 pm. The employee asked about the description, and I gave him, and he replied that it was a teacher that had taught at the school thirty years ago that had died while teaching!.

I used to work in building 1605 next to the chapel, and that building is haunted. When I would leave the building I felt like eyes were on me, and someone was coming up behind me quickly. At night time I would see figures down by the bathrooms, and at one point heard chains going down the hall, but I was the only one in there. The feeling in that building is definitely uneasy and does not feel nice.

Another coworker was working alone one night, and a loud bang hit his office wall like someone threw something at it. The bathroom doors open and close on their own, and they are pretty heavy, so it's not a draft. Also one of the back rooms will randomly get this dead smell to it. A few days it will smell like dead bodies and then be gone and then come back. A ghost team needs to go investigate that building.

When I was working at the Hanscom AFB Bowling Alley in the early 90s, the bowling alley manager passed away in his office. I was going over the receipts with another co-worker for the evening, and the only light that was on was the light above the front desk where we were standing. We had already cleaned up the alley and made sure everything in the back behind the pin settings were cleaned up, shut off, and secure.
