The building is gone now. It was on the corner of Bond and Essex St. I lived on the first floor of this four story tenements in a back bedroom. I know it was an old tenement because the gas lamp fixture was still on the wall.
Painted over many times but it still swung out from the wall and folded back against the wall. Now there was a closet in this room. I even though I was young I do believe I saw (more than once) a ghost.

I was told a woman had committed suicide in that room. If any one knows if this story is true I would like to know.

Hi we have lived in Lyman Terrace for about 7 yrs, my younger sister and my aunt have seen the exact same ghosts at different occasions, they see two young girls in white gowns walking around and staring at them while they sleep. My sister has also seen an old man just staring at her with a mean look on his face. Now its getting worse, dishes are falling and breaking on their own, every night there are noises coming from different places in the apartment. It feels like what's there is taking over or wants to take over, it's very scary. Our next door neighbors are also hearing and seeing things. I'm researching to see if something bad happened in the apartment but still haven't found anything. If anyone knows anything from this address East Court. Please let me know.
