Harwood ave - from the day my wife and I moved in we sensed something in our house. We often heard sounds in the house which could not be explained by plumbing settling etc. On several occasions we awoke simultaneously at the sound of footsteps on the stairs.
Visitors often sensed a presence. The feeling was strongest in the upstairs bedroom by the eves. When my son was born we put him in a crib the foot of our bed by those very eves. As he got

older and started to talk he would tell stories of dreams he would have of a woman named ''becky'' who came from ''the dark''.
He said she would come
|
up under his blankets and talk to him. She said she did not like me (his dad) but liked him and his mom. One day he said that Becky told him she was going away and not coming back.
From that day forward we never heard another unexplained sound or feel another presence in the house.
