I once went on a school field trip to the Boot Cotton Mills in Lowell in 6th grade and we went on a tour. When the guide brought us to the front of the entrance I saw a woman in an old style dress and I asked the guide if there was anyone working in the Mills reenacting the mill girls working in which she replied no.
From now on I will call her the walking mill girl of the windows.

I have lived in the Highlands in the same house since I was a baby. I am now 24. My brother died in my room back in 1992, and since I was a kid I never wanted to sleep in my room alone. I always had bad dreams. I would wake up in the middle of the night and hear things but would never go investigate them because I was too scared. I started seeing things a few years back when I started sleeping in my room again. I came home from work, and my boyfriend and I went to bed. I woke up around 3 or 4 am to my boyfriend screaming for me to turn on the light. He doesn't get scared too easy, so I was scared to get up. I finally got up and turned on the light. There was no one there.

He had told me he felt hair on his face and saw a shadow of a tall man with long hair. He knew he wasn't sleeping. When he told me the man had long hair I was instantly freaked out because my brother died with long black hair. A few things happened here and there especially when I'm alone in the house. I hear things. Once I was home with my boyfriend, and we were watching TV; I heard the front door open and slam shut. Then I heard a woman talking. I thought it was my mom, so I went downstairs to talk to her, but no one was there. All the lights were off, and my dog was barking as if he had heard what I did. I do believe my brother is in this house; however, it's also other people. I've seen an old woman when I was going to the bathroom. She was sitting on the stairs with her hair in front of her face. I saw her from the corner of my eye, so when I looked she was gone. My cat was sitting on the floor staring at the stairs right where I saw her. It's definitely creepy but kind of cool.

I used to live on Dalton St, when I lived there doors opened by themselves and I heard people talking at 3:07 every night. Stuff kept moving then someone called at 1 am, it said ''I know what your doing you can see you''. Then I freaked out and called the cops, they didn't find any foot prints of anyone else. Later on that night I knew I had to move out.
