My sister used to own a home on Andrews Street. She always told me the house was haunted, but I never believed her. It was haunted by an old woman in while nightgown. One night I stayed over, and sure enough my 18-month old-son and I were attacked by a fanged black caped figure with red eyes. I never brought it up to my son until years later. Come to find out my son has been having nightmares of that figure as far back as he can remember. I know people who lived in that home years after my sister sold it. They too said it was haunted, and they didn't last long there. Submitted by Jackie

I went to Shedds Park. One of my friends had told me that a few people died there and about the witch bonney. Obviously I thought he was lying. I am not from Lowell, and I recently moved here two years ago. I've never went at night. I've always gone there at day time, and it's a good low key place to smoke, so I decided to bring my boyfriend there at night near the ball park. I thought it was weird that the park was 24 hours, and nobody was at the ball park.

Everyone was parked where the lights are. It made us want to go up there more since we would be alone. We decided to go outside and catch some air. Me being stupid I was like ''let's go swinging'' not knowing if there was really a swing there. As we were walking towards the bleachers, I told my boyfriend I feel uncomfortable because I see people walking, and it's very dark out mind you. These people didn't even say anything or even have a flash light. He said I needed to grab something in the car.
I thought he was going to get the blunt, but instead he grabbed a knife just in case those people were weirdoes. It's a pocket knife guys, chill. We don't go around stabbing people. I grabbed my phone since it was dark I just wanted to use the flash as a flash light. We began to walk near the bleachers again. I saw shadows moving as if someone was walking. I even stopped to make sure it wasn't even my shadow. We were close enough we could have seen what the other people were wearing.
I started to feel uncomfortable because I couldn't see who was in front of us, and they didn't say anything, so I'm like ''let's go back in the car. These people weird''. We went in the car, and I said ''drive close to those people I want to see them''. Literally in two seconds high beams were on. Nobody was there . There was no way someone walked that fast. I knew I wasn't tweaking because my boyfriend saw those people walking too. I thought I only saw one person, but he saw two. He had no idea about the park history. I looked it up to find out an 11-year-old girl got murdered there in 1999, and the guy who murdered her took his life the same week. It's very chilling to Google search the park history, and I will not be going back again.
