I grew up on East Main Street in Milford. The house had an evil presence. I have experienced everything from pictures fly off of walls, voices, cabinets always open, lights turned on or off, doors open and close and even lock, footsteps, strange sounds, ashtrays or plates or almost any breakable item break or smash. My girlfriend at the time was smacked in the face while we were sleeping. She woke me thinking I was messing with her, but I was not. I was asleep, and when I turned the light on there was a red hand print across her cheek.
Most of my childhood was terrifying in that house. I feel the spirit was singling me out. There was always a sense of unease, and I always felt like I was being chased out of every room. Every pet that had ever been in that house, whether mine or visiting went absolutely crazy. I dog sat for my friend's family while they went on vacation. The dog immediately went nuts and over the course of 2 days was vomiting and had severe diarrhea. It became terrified to be anywhere and would cower and pee as soon as it entered.

The night we were packing to move out... Finally... As I was unloading the refrigerator, my view was in line with the stairs that led downstairs. It was dark and unlit, and no one was home downstairs. My grandmother was in CT. With my mother. On the lives of my 2 children I swear I saw a set of grayish hand reach out of the darkness of the stairwell less than 3 feet from me. It grabbed the door casing and immediately pulled back as soon as I looked and jumped back from fear. I quickly turned the hall light on to find no one there. Nobody could have snuck in, climbed the stairs, done that, and ran down the stairs so quietly, 19 steps. If I remember, and not be seen or heard. IT KNEW I WAS LEAVING. I did not sleep that night. I stayed up all night with all lights on and prepared myself for the escape of a lifetime from this evil thing that horrified me for years.
