I lived in an old house in a second floor apartment in Milford several years ago that had weird things going on there. Pipes would bang late at night, (Hubby said it was just air in the pipes) but when I would yell, ''knock it off!'' it would stop.
I woke up one night to my bed mildly shaking and I sat straight up so I know I wasn't dreaming.

Late Easter night 1992 My 2 kids screamed with night terrors--at the same time--I ran into their room, passing through the kitchen. The house was in darkness yet there was a beam of light on the kitchen floor. (not moonlight, shades were down) I settled the kids, and went back through the kitchen and the light was gone.

Nothing violent happened there, though. Incidentally, I know of 2 people who have died in that house--my parents lived in the first floor apartment and Dad died there in 1986. Mom moved to elderly housing in 1994 and my brother kept the first floor apartment. His roommate died there in 1996, an accidental death. (barbell fell across his neck while he was on the weight bench) We left in 1998 when we bought a house in Uxbridge. Curious if anyone has experienced anything there. It's on East Main St. down in the plains section.
