When I was a child living on Cleveland st the house I lived in was haunted. You would see shadows move across the kitchen walls and vanish behind the fridge. Also the door knob leading into our tenement would often turn late at night.
The worst part for me was waking up and seeing faces on the wall of my room at night. Often when I was alone in the house or on the front porch I would hear my name whispered in my ear. A few times I was thrown to the floor hard while I was walking through the living room and I could tell that this scared my parents.

We moved out shortly after the night the vaporizer fell off a table and burned me real bad. This happened on the first floor of a three story tenement and I can't believe we lived there almost ten years.

People who rented the second and third floors never stayed longer than a few months. I'm now fifty seven years old and still remember this like it was yesterday . I guess I will never forget that place, but I wish I could.
