We sat there speechless and then began looking for an answer to what had just happened. We found none. By the way before the building was owned by Bertucci's it was a family restaurant. Before that it was some kind of an inn for wayward travelers.

Comment by Carla: I worked at Thompsons Restaurant for many years at that location. Was hostess in high school, then bus boy, then waitress. Elsie Thompsons was my boss early 70s. My mom and aunt both waitresses.
