I lived in Somerville until I was ten years old. I am now 62. I lived in a large old house two down from the wall at the end. Our house was on the right side when looking at the wall. My parents owned the home we lived in the first floor apt. For those of you who may know the home it is the Philly style apt. At the top of the staircase where the two rooms are I saw an apparition. I was maybe 4 or 5. In the nook to the right at the top of the stairs was an old woman. She was just there. To say the least I was scared.
On another occasion I saw this same woman sitting in front of my mother in the living room talking to her. My mother was not aware of the other woman. I moved from that house 52 years ago. Only a week or so ago I remembered this experience. If anyone knows of this home or if there is a spirit there, please advise. I do know the address. The neighbor across the street was my baby sitter. She and her husband still live there. I did not provide the address to protect the privacy of the current owner and the neighbors.

One of the first times I saw a ghost I was 12 years old. I was living in a house on a corner. I hope that people respect whoever lives there now's privacy and doesn't break into the home start poking around or loitering waiting to see something.
I was 12 years old and my room was at the 2nd floor landing. I got out of bed to go to the bathroom before going to sleep. I froze at the 2nd floor landing and watched what appeared to be a cloaked black shadow float up the stairs from the first floor and stopped in front of me for what couldn't be more than 2 seconds then continue to go up the stairs to the third floor where my sisters bedrooms were.
