They're digging a gigantic hole in the ground. They left a narrow patch of forest around it to hide it but it's easy to find. The problem is that that area is riddled with old native spirits that were at rest until now.
This digging has produced a large number of hauntings. Many of them vicious and evil in nature. There have been sightings of apparitions at and around the digging site. Those are just the tip of the iceberg.

area is now infested with restless spirits who are not happy about their resting grounds being torn up for whatever commercially beneficial reason. I

work near the digging site and I have noticed an increase in paranormal events since the digging started.
I have also heard other people saying the same thing. Hope it doesn't get any worse.
