In the ladies room on the lower floor of ''the commons'' I saw a shadow figure as I entered one of the stalls. It quickly dissipated. As I was washing my hands I heard the shuffling of feet. I looked under the stalls but saw no one.
My husband said there was no one in the hallway outside of the door. I left quickly.

Comment by Anne: The commons was built on the former college inn property. There are likely to be spirits there.

Have them in my house. I've learned they are spirits of the former home owners who just loved the land and the house. They are not evil and don't bother anyone. But you hear their muffled conversations in the midle of the night.
