and out within a month each. Eventually a man bought the house. My sister talked to him one day while she was on her paper route. She explained that we had lived in that house for five years. He asked cautiously if anything strange ever happened in the house. My sister explained that the house was haunted, but if you told the ghost that it was scaring you, it would quiet down. Last I heard the house had been divided into two apartments. The downstairs was

Before selling her house, a friend of the family owned a house on Elm Street. At the time I was staying with her. She would tell me of the different hauntings that her house had. I did not believe her. One night my father, sister, another friend of the family and myself ate dinner at Vivian's house. After we finished eating dinner we held hands and prayed. When we finished praying, there were three knocks on the cellar door. We were the only ones in the house.
A couple of days later I heard Tammy's bedroom doorknob turning but not opening. I told Tammy I would be right there to open the door. As I was walking from the kitchen to Tammy's' room, there was a gust of wind that came into the dining room windows and knocked the knick knacks off the window sill. Funny thing about that was there were no winds that day or forecast of winds that day. When I opened Tammy's' door, I told Tammy her door was open. She did not answer. I thought Tammy was playing games. I looked through out Tammy's bedroom to find that Tammy wasn't there.
Over the next few days in different parts of the house it was cold. The ghost that occupies this house is a calm ghost. At the time the lady (ghost) and her husband had owned the house, the husband would have a few friends in the cellar to gamble. The wife was a nervous wreck. She was afraid that the police would come over and catch her husband and his friends gambling in the cellar. She died an untimely death, and her ghost haunted the house.
