It was about 1:00 in the morning when my close friend Frank called me. I was deep asleep, so obviously it took a while to realize that the annoying ringing was my phone. When I finally picked up, the line was just quiet. Since I didn't have a life or a wife or anyone to live with, I just walked out of my apartment and got into my car to check on my friend.
When I got there, Frank's door was unlocked and slightly opened, causing me to worry for his

safety. There was no screaming or any sound, so I thought the intruder had already killed him. But, when I walked in, there was nobody to be seen except

for Frank sitting in the middle of the hallway floor with his hands behind his back. All the lights were off and the curtains were pulled shut. I asked Frank what he was doing, and he just smiled creepily. He finally stood up, and I stepped back because I was slightly terrified. This was not like Frank at all.
Frank swept his hands away from his back to reveal that he was holding a really big kitchen knife and swung it at my right arm. I was too afraid
