My fiancé and I were driving home to Boston from New York. We decided to pull off in Sturbridge for gas and coffee. Our maps brought us down a long desolate empty road through a forest. It then pulled us off onto this tiny creepy dirt road which was only big enough for one car. We felt like we were driving into the middle of nowhere, so we decided to turn back at that point. However, the road was too narrow. Finally there were some houses and a paved road,

but when we tried to navigate back to civilization we realized we had no signal.
We drove where we thought we needed to go and ended up going over

some creepy ancient wooden bridge, and finally (finally! ) made it back to society and a gas station. It was then we found out the gas station was literally right off the highway, so there was no reason for that detour. Then we found out two of our headlights had burnt out, and one of them was shattered. The gas pump was also malfunctioning, so we got as much gas as we could and got out of this town. We are both convinced something spooky was going on in that
