Two weeks ago I had a bizarre experience while driving on Pleasant Street in Walpole, which was witnessed by not just myself, but my father and daughter who were also in my vehicle. I believe another motorist on the opposite side of the road also saw what we did as she stopped and rolled down her window. If by any chance the other driver comes across this, please reply.
It was about 8:00 pm. We were driving on back roads after leaving the mall.

Long story short, I noticed that we were approaching a car that was stopped on the opposite side of the road to let a man pass who was crossing the street.

I slowed down, so the man could pass on my side as well. Both my headlights and the other car's headlights were on, so the man was totally illuminated (plus it wasn't totally dark yet.) I was in the middle of a conversation and not really paying attention to the man as he crossed until I looked and saw his legs and shoes (I was so close I could see the tread on his shoes.) They appeared translucent.
