I've experienced several ghostly encounters in Winchendon but the one that really spooked me is when I was living on maple St. We were just sitting on our bed and saw a golf club lifted almost completely out of it's stand then slammed back into it...
I thought I was the only one who saw it until my husband said did you just see that!.

The monadonock region is very haunted the woods have strange beasts that may be paranormal that chase hikers and children Indian ghost stalk the Stonewalls where their graves were desecrated.

My grandmother's house has been haunted ever since she bought furniture from a haunted house in Asburnham in the early 1900s. The ghosts were harmless unless you slept in the haunted bed. Eventually the bed was destroyed, but the ghost remained and continued to make sounds which my brothers , uncle , and my father heard.
